Specialist insurer and reinsurer Apollo Syndicate Management has appointed Andrew Page (pictured above) to lead its terrorism and political violence team. He reports to Chris King, the firm’s head of crisis management.
Page has over 15 years of industry experience, particularly in underwriting. He joined Beazley’s Apollo, where he spent a decade endorsing terrorism and political violence in London and Singapore. Earlier in his career, Page worked at Chaucer Syndicates and Brit Insurance in underwriting roles.
âAndrew’s arrival is a critical part of our strategic expansion plan for the Terrorism and Political Violence business line, which Chris has spearheaded,â said David Ibeson, Group CEO Apollo. âChris will now focus on growing the Crisis Management division, strengthening Apollo’s multi-line offering, including specialized political risk and disruption insurance solutions. With Andrew’s emphasis on innovative collaboration and the development of creative formulations and solutions, we are confident that our clients will reap significant benefits from his appointment.
Apollo currently provides global counterterrorism coverage and serves clients of all sizes, from small businesses to large multinational corporations.
âI look forward to joining Apollo and working with Chris to strengthen the Terrorism and Political Violence team,â Page said. âThis industry is always relevant and evolving and it is more important than ever to offer our customers a choice of products and services that truly meet their needs.
